I live in MA and I'd like to buy a Boberg, and I realize all of the steps that have to be taken for a firearm to be approved and certified here, but I don't see any reason conceptually why these firearms cannot be built to conform to MA specs.
The Kahr PM9 has recently been approved for sale here and by all indications people are very receptive - and the Kahr is an expensive pistol.
Does Boberg have plans to offer this gun here?

Comment by Stephen Benz on October 10, 2011 at 4:40pm That's a shame - no, it's more like a travesty. :sigh:. Another fascinating pistol design I'm going to be denied the opportunity to try because of the blinkered laws in this state. Arne if you ever think of a way to do it, and have the means, please know that you have at least one very interested purchaser here.
When Kahr took the trouble to get the PM9 approved here, the response was amazing. Four Seasons Firearms reports that 5 of their staff members bought one. http://www.fsguns.com/fsg_new_hg.html Go there and scroll down.
I've been saving for one. I'd rather buy a Boberg. If you can ever find a way to make it happen, I think you've got some discerning firearms people here in MA who would love to see it. I sure would.
I wish you all the best fortune in the world with your pistols.
