"I've been rear-pocket carrying my LCP for a year+ in a Recluse Holster. It's fantastic. I also sometimes use the same holster in a breast pocket on a flannel shirt. Looks like a cell phone."

"For my two cents, I always carry my P238 cocked and on safety, 1911's cocked and locked and all others chambered and ready to fire. A good holster and the proper ammunition matters as much as the pistol.   Outside of the old Colt's…"

"I carry my LCP in a wallet holster in my rear pocket - super easy to just grab and go.  Since the LCP and the XR9s are similar in size, there's no reason why this wouldn't work for the XR9s too.  I highly recommend Uncle Georges…"

"Arne,   Do you ever concealed-carry with a round chambered for speed of self defense response, or do you always carry such that you have to rack the slide to fire?  This is probably a provacative question.  If so,…"

"I have tried them all. IMO the best is an IWB holster worn at 2/3 o'clock. My favorite by far is Doug Chiders from Beer Creek. Terrific fit and finish and light weight, but the pistol fits snug. He built one for my Sig P238's and one for…"

"The reinforced mouth does make it a little thicker, but not so much that it doesn't conceal my thick brick of a G23 well enough. I wouldn't suggest anyone try to be the quick re-holster champ, but an easier one handed re-holster can be a…"
