XR9S vs LCP - Thickness picture
20 Replies

Does anyone have (or can anyone take!) a picture showing the side by side thickness of the XR9-S vs a LCP (or even P3AT). I think from the dimensions the XR9-S is a little thicker, but wanted to see…Continue

Let me start by saying I've lurked here for more than a year, very excited about the xr9.  Pocket carry is the only way I really feel physically comfortable carrying, and the xr9 looks great. I saw…Continue

"That's the one I remember.  I couldn't remember the name, but I remembered it looked like a 2nd Gen S&W auto. "

"Howdy from San Antonio,  I have a NIB (of course, never fired) shorty that I would part with for $1,890.  I know that's really steep but that's what I would sell it for.  Cheers!     "

"Thanks for all the pictures, I appreciate it. Like others, I'm tall(er) and thin - 5 10, 140lbs.  Front pocket carry is pretty much the only way that is comfortable to me - I'm simply too bony to do IWB comfortably, even with a good…"

"John,   Good comparisons.  I absolutely HATED the P290.  The trigger was not smooth and the gun just didn't feel right to me.   I don't have specs but the pocket 9 market is starting to get crowded.  Other…"

"Well, we are new into the Boberg landscape. The biggest design concern at this point is poor quality ammo separating under the reverse G loads. This will either improve the quality of ammo or clarify the quality differences between available…"

"Funny.  We didn't say we're unsatisfied.  We just would not front pocket carry the XR9-S.  I have a Meco IWB on order. "

"DJ, I also have an XR9-S and a BG380. IMO, the P3AT "sized" 380s are significantly easier to conceal/carry than a XR9-S. That said they are 380s and are half as powerful as the smallest Boberg. For those, like myself wanting the power, a…"

"Well I can see where in a tight situation it might not offer a whole lot of life saving advantages, but it would help on the range, and if grips really are only a few bucks I'm for sure going to try it."
