"Hi Victor:  Yes, there are several flipping multiple gun purchasers hoping to profit on the relative scarcity of the XR9-S. Although some early guns sold on GB went for $2000 +/-, recent sales have been in the $1350 - $1400 range and have had…"

I FINALLY got well enough, and the weather finally was decent enough, and we had no mole-hill-turned-to-a-mountain projects to be able to shoot my Boberg for the first time on Sunday.  I found that it does not like Remington ammo.  Every first round would not chamber properly.  Once chambered, every following round chambered without a problem.  Did you get yours; and how do you like it?

BTW - the D3 is helping a lot.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Well, it all started with emergency dental surgery with two weeks of  antibiotics.  In that two weeks, I caught a viral URI which churned up my asthma really bad.  So a round of Prednisone and two inhalers fixed that.  But the bugs weren't done with me yet, so they moved upwards and created  a severe sinus infection for which I took two more rounds of antibiotics.  I'm still not 100%.  Part of the problem down here in Vestal is that we had all that severe flooding in September.  There are still piles of debris all over and many condemned houses that have not yet been torn down.  Until this past weekend, we've had temps in the mid- to high- 40s.  We just had a cold snap (below 0° at night and in the 20s daily) that I am hoping did it's work.  I take D3 daily, but not as high a dose as you.  I'll have to step it up and see what happens.  I also have been taking Echinacea with Goldenseal and Vitamin C every 6 - 8 hours.  That always seems to help.  I also have SAD which doesn't help.  Thankfully, each day is getting longer.

If I don't get to the range this weekend, I definitely will next weekend because my husband has to meet a 'newbie' and go over our club safety and range rules.  I'll just tag along and have some fun!

Hey, Luke.  My Boberg arrived at my FFL in early December.  I just got my hands on it to bring home last Tuesday and am looking forward to taking it to the range as soon as the weather lets up a little.  I have been ill (I call it the creeping crud) since the beginning of November.  You know.... you get something and it just won't let go of you.... and the longer you have it, the worse it gets...... creeping crud.  Any way, I finally felt good enough to go to the range Saturday two weeks ago for a couple of hours.  This weekend was the gun show.  Temperatures dropped from a sultry 35° to below zero the past few nights; but we are supposed to have some nicer weather again in the next week.  That means I'll be headed to the range with a smile on my face.  I'll let you know how that workds out.  I already know that the XR9 will fit in the Cross Breed holster I bought for my Glock 19 and I've got to order a couple extra mags.  Right now I'm contented to have it in my possession.
