Khadga replied to Pete Bingle's discussion Just got an e-mail
"I just checked and saw my email! I'm thinking I'll have to get a couple. Because I can't get three AND pay my bills this month. I'm fired up for some micro-gunning! Bad guys, beware, and say hello to my leeetle friend!"

Khadga replied to BullDog007, Dennis's discussion Holsters
"Nice gear adaptation, Dennis. Makes me think it might fit in some sort of cell phone case. Probably not too easy access, but super sneaky conceal. No freaking way anyone suspects that little camera bag contains a serious sidearm. Thanks for sharing…"

Khadga replied to CWC's discussion Anybody got any XR9s customizing plans?
"If I ever get one in my paws, I will investigate disabling/immobilizing the manual safety, and have the slide, frame, and relevant internals re-finished in nickel boron which provides maximum protection against corrosion and wear while uniquely…"

Khadga replied to scott saren's discussion pocket carry
"The reinforced mouth does make it a little thicker, but not so much that it doesn't conceal my thick brick of a G23 well enough. I wouldn't suggest anyone try to be the quick re-holster champ, but an easier one handed re-holster can be a…"

Khadga replied to scott saren's discussion pocket carry
"Hate to be the spirit of Mas Ayoob here, but pocket carry w/o a pocket holster is just asking for an AD (also known as a Plaxico moment). There are a ton of pocket holsters out there to fit most any need safely. I haven't tried their pocket…"

Khadga replied to CWC's discussion Kimber Solo another sub-compact 9mm
"  So, Bill, can you hook me up with your Kimber employee discount when the CDPs are ready? ;)   Hopefully, all of the adults here can discuss weapon preference specifics without getting emotional or throwing a tantrum.  For example, I…"

Khadga replied to alienbogey's discussion Ruger LC9
"I should point out the LC9 was rather "snappy" with plus Ps but controllable recoil with very manageable muzzle flip both seemed a bit better than the analagous Kel-Tec, not sure why."

Khadga replied to alienbogey's discussion Ruger LC9
"The LC9 recoil is very manageable with 124+P, and another lighter grain Cor-Bon +P I shot. My friend has about 350 rds through it w/o any failures, another 700 or so, and we'll call it reliable. The thumb safety is a plus for me, but the…"

Khadga replied to Mr. Alloy's discussion Single Action
"All of my autoloaders including my tupperware striker guns have a frame thumb safety in 1911 configuration(down live/up safe). I waited for the thumb safety option before I acquired the M&Ps and XDms I love. My Glocks have…"

" "It feels a lot more like the old S&W Sigma (9mm and .40 S&W) grip."   I keep my 1st run Sigma 9mm only because it keeps me wicked sharp on malfunction drills, but it wasn't until the subsequent S&W M&P or…"

Khadga replied to MadMax9to40's discussion Night Sights
"I'm a big fan of the XS "Big Dot" sights. They are a particularly great fit for a pocket pistol b/c the only drawbacks of the big dot occur at longer ranges essentially irrelevant for a microcompact. I'd love an…"

Khadga replied to Michael Zeleny's discussion Steel Frame Availability
"+5.8 oz wouldn't necessarily remove it from pocket pistol use. I've used the relatively heavy Kahr MK9 that way in big pocketed cargo shorts just by making sure I wore a good belt as well. I have given up my Kahr…"

Khadga replied to Michael D. Teal's discussion single stack tapered into a double stack magazine
"I always carry higher cap G22 mags w/ my G23, because once the weapon is drawn, concealment is out the door. The only concern of an extended mag is the additional disarmament/retention challenge, but that makes me no less happy to bring along a 22rd…"

Khadga replied to Matt W.'s discussion Barrel lowering, and barrel porting
"I've found that a properly configured Glock20 with a red dot sight makes for an excellent 10mm hunting autoloader if a Smith or Ruger 357 or 44 doesn't do it for you. My friend has a Magna-Ported10mm EA Witness that was intended to fulfill…"

Khadga replied to Larry's discussion Extended Mag Grip

I've added a couple key ring fobs to the zipper tabs to facilitate the grab-and-pull.  Nothing like concealed carry in plain sight [yes, I have a CHL for Texas].  It's easier to get into than my pocket.  Went to pick up a pizza and got a compliment on my 'fanny pack'.  Told the lady it holds what I need it to hold.
