Well, While I'm waiting (patiently I might add) for MY name to float to the top of the pre-order list, (and that's not gonna' be happening in the near future I might add) I would enjoy reading any…Continue

FWIW: & HELP!Don't have my XR9S yet (still 500 names down the line I'm afraid), but in the meantime I would greatly appreciate it if some of our "rich" XR9S owners would spend a lot of their…Continue

Just curious.I've read where the factory warranty of the Boberg is only for three years. Is this correct? If so I'm a bit puzzled that a new pistol of this advertised quality would have such a…Continue

I am seriously thinking of (finally) buying a Seecamp... probably in .32 caliber. The choice of caliber is based on my desire for a softer shooting pistol, even though I know I can handle the .380.
I once owned a NAA Gaurdian in .380, but sold it after a few months time. It wasn't the recoil or my sore hand that caused me to sell it. Unlike the Seecamp, the Gaurdian is not of high quality manufacture. The bullets constantly tumbled, producing keyhole wounds in paper targets. That would take a serious bite out of their ability to penetrate and would likely be less effective than a Seecamp in .32 caliber.
I also sold a much loved Sig Sauer P232 in .380 (the all steel version - weighed about 30 ounces IIRC. I loved the gun, even though it was too big for pocket carry and it was not all that pleasant to shoot after 20 rounds (even given its significant weight). The blow back design does little to nothing to reduce felt recoil. The reason I sold the Sig was... well... because I was stupid. I should have kept it just because it was such a nice, well made gun.
But before I purcahse a Seecamp in any caliber, I'd love to know your reasons for chosing the .380 over the .32. It often turns out that I know a lot less about guns than I think I know, and so I value the opinions of those few fellows on the forums whose reasoning and rationals I respect.
Best,
Larry
