Boberg Arms

Does anyone have (or can anyone take!) a picture showing the side by side thickness of the XR9-S vs a LCP (or even P3AT). I think from the dimensions the XR9-S is a little thicker, but wanted to see a side by side compro.  Thanks!

Thanks for all the pictures, I appreciate it.

Like others, I'm tall(er) and thin - 5 10, 140lbs.  Front pocket carry is pretty much the only way that is comfortable to me - I'm simply too bony to do IWB comfortably, even with a good holster.  I can almost forget about a front pocket gun.   I have been using a LCP (disappears) or SW 642 JFrame (almost too big for my pockets) for the last several years and really want 'more' gun...but finding something that will work has been a challenge.

Nice spreadsheet! Thanks for sharing

Here's an excel spec sheet I put together a while back...

Howdy from San Antonio,

I have a NIB (of course, never fired) shorty that I would part with for $1,890.  I know that's really steep but that's what I would sell it for.  Cheers!

For any that might be unsatisfied because of the thickness or any other reason I might be interested in buying your Boberg, please pm me. I would like to have another one!
Thanks for the offer but I'm going to have to pass.

No problem.  Take care...Be well.

Glad this thread got bumped, as I had missed it and it's a good one.  I'd like to add that I completely agree DJ, John Brady and Brokedoc...they've really nailed it with their comments.  In tighter pants, like jeans, the XR9-S  is, IMO, too thick for front pocket carry.  In thin or baggy pants, like dress or cargo, it can be done, but it's not ideal, as the weight works against you, making the gun swing like a pendulum. But I've found this gun is just stellar for carrying in the waist band, way better than, say, a Glock 26. It lays flat against the body and conceals well with even a thin shirt. It's also extremely comfortable because of it's unique dimensions, especially the short muzzle.  And with the right holster you still have excellent purchase on the grip. I've got some pics here:

I bet the duck tape keeps the Boberg from talking, I mean quacking.
