Placed my order a couple days ago and got a call from Robert yesterday. Nice gentleman to speak with. He wanted to know how I liked to wear an IWB, specifically if I preferred the grip above the belt. I told him yes, I did prefer it that way. He said he intended to put a cant to the holster since there's not a lot of muzzle protruding down below the belt line and that that would offset the tendency of the gun to fall out. I told him he was the craftsman and to do what he thought was necessary.
Now, I normally carry straight up/down at about 2:00 or so, and I'm not sure how a canted holster would work in this position. Aren't canted holsters worn more towards the back?
Who is carrying IWB and what is your experience?

I've ordered both a pocket holster and an IWB from Meco. In the meantime I've tested the XR9-S in my front pocket with a DeSantis Super Fly that I've used regularly with a Taurus 738 TCP (.380) and also an Uncle Mike's IWB (not sure of the model) for a small revolver. The Super Fly was way too tight (it's sized for a Ruger LCP), but it holds the gun well in the front pocket. The uncle Mike's IWB holster worked ok here as well. It would be better if it weren't pointed in shape and if I were to cut off the belt clip. But it's works well enough to tell me that I can carry the Boberg in my front pocket with the right holster, though it will be more dependent on wearing particular pants than does carrying my .380, due partly to the extra thickness. I also find that the grip length makes it a bit more difficult to draw than I'm used to with my .380, but that gun only carries 6 in the mag. Cargo pants work better than jeans (obvious).
I'm hoping the Meco will work better for front pocket carry, even though I think it's intended more for back pocket carry. As for the back pocket, the Shorty fits great even in jeans if I carry it with no holster, upside down (slide down / muzzle pointing sideways). However, I would never carry in pocket with no holster, and the typical pocket holster orients the gun with the muzzle pointing down (the best orientation for drawing). In this position, though, a lot of my pants just don't hide the top of the grip. Some do, so like the front pocket, it depends on the pants.
So far, I really like carrying this gun IWB. Until the Meco IWB gets here, I find it fits pretty well in a Hume IWB designed for my Glock 19. I think I may make this my default carry for this gun, at least until the XR45-GAP is released! 8-)
