Boberg Arms

First: I like this pistol---very much. It beats my PM9 in accuracy and handling.

Ammo: My XR9-S seems to like the lighter bullets. 115's better than the 124's and 124 tops the

147s. Today I shot 12 different defense loads. All ran without a hitch. One group of Hornady Critical

Defense was one ragged hole at 10 yards off the bench.

I wanted to test ammo for accuracy, not test me , so I put some bags on a bench and rested the pistol.

Here is what I ran today:

1. Gold Dot 115 JHP       **  2. Hornady Critical Defense 115 **   3. Georgia Arms 115 JHP

4. Ga Arms 124 +P    5. WW PDX1 124+P ***   6. Gold Dot 124+P Short Barrel  **

7. Rem. 124 Gold Saber   8. Rem 124 Gold Saber +P   9. WW 147 Bonded Ranger JHP **

10. Rem. 147 Bonded G. Saber   11. Fed Hydra Shok JHP   12. WW Personal Protection 147.

The *** is the best grouping of all and the ** are going to get another chance. I also want to bring in

some Cor Bon 115+P. ( each ammo got 3 groups of 5 shots)

Prior to shooting today I had put about 100 rounds of break in , all shot without a hitch. I used

WW 115 USA and some Atlanta Arms 147 SubSonic .

What else learned:

Having some holsters for various pistols I had to play with some. The BEST FIND is for the pocket

the DeSantis Nemesis for the Kahr P380 with a CT is great just like it was made for it..A BlackHawk NO 1 will work---just OK.

The new Bianchi 101 works on the belt, and the Galco Matrix 7X for my PM9 worked with the XR9-S,

The future will  hold having a holster like the DeSantis Pop-Up made for IWB carry and Alabama

Holster to do a front pocked Kydex for me.

PM 9 to XR9-S:

The Boberg handles MUCH better. Felt recoil is a world apart. The PM with the short and rounded

grip just can not compare. Don't get me wrong, I love my PM 9 , but think she will know I am having

an affair with XR9-S. Thanks for the into , Arne.
