Very cool innovative design
Arne, I just wanted to say that this is an awesome design. It's amazing to see this kind of innovation in a market like this that is so old and has so many players. Yet you've demonstrated that on many aspects of this gun.
It's also cool to see the design spearheaded by one man with a vision, someone who has a clear picture of the entire design. Even though this is a new venture for you, I can tell that you know what you're doing, and aren't held back by the bureaucratic nonsense of a larger company. Someday in the future I'm sure I'll be adding at least one of your guns to my collection!

Arne, is it safe to assume that the final product will look like the pistol pictured on page 5 of the photos listed as "Boberg XR9-S (Shorty) 9mm+P - Left Side". That pistol looks great with that color combination! I'm eagerly awaiting it's arrival.

Yes, that color combination you are referring to is the standard (black anodized frame with natural SS slide). The first two to four hundred guns (depending on how many orders in the first batch we process) will be that color. We are working on a nickel or chrome finish as an option (later) so people will be able to get the light-colored scheme (which I personally like). The light-colored frame in that last image I posted (with the new grip panel) is merely an unplated, raw aluminum frame. After about 5K rounds it surprisingly shows little wear, although the exterior shows cosmetic scratches much easier than if it were plated.
