So How Are The "Canadian" Models Coming Along?

How are the "Canadian" length models coming along? We are patiently anticipating either the full size (preferably) or "shorty Canadian" version up here.

Have you worked out anything with a Canadian distributer yet?

I've been waiting for....years....(literally) to see your guns up here. Please do not dissapoint.

Having worked in machine design for many years, I've learned not to clone a design until every process is streamlined and finalized. That way, we don't have to "learn twice" on two different products. The slide and frame are very complex parts with literally hundreds of dimensions on the drawings - all the specs are "tweaked" slightly so that they fall within process capability - but this does not affect interchangeability. In the next several months I expect to have a "turnkey" process with a massive documentation package for the XR9-S that can be cloned to an XR9-L. The only thing at that point that would delay the XR9-L would be potential lack of resources (supplier part delivery, 2nd shift machinist availability, hours in the week, too busy making the XR9-S, etc.), and any issues that would come up in testing, which is planned to take several months on its own.

The XR9-L was my first design going into this, and is still my favorite. While I have spoken to more than one Canadian distributor, nothing will be formalized until we can produce enough product per month to fill their channels. There is a lot of work ahead, but my plan is to not disappoint!
