Have any of you lucky current XR9S owners tried the versacarry.com holsters?

Something about blocking the barrel and the possibility of an accidental discharge making a giant hole in my side next to vital organs says I will avoid this style of holster at all costs....

Edit: the site says the "plug" will not make a seal to the barrel.  Yet on another section of the site it says "Do not carry any semi-auto firearm in a cocked and locked condition or with a live round. Always carry with the firearm’s safety full engaged and working properly. "

What's the point of carrying if you are not supposed to have it cocked and locked with one in the pipe?

I was concerned about the lack of a trigger guard.  But their new Gen II adds an optional trigger guard.

A blocked barrel would certainly increase the destructive possibilities of a discharge caused by careless handling. But with the trigger guard that would appear to be a low likelihood possibility. From their description, it would appear that you might be able to mount two of their trigger guards and protect both sides of the trigger.

I would probably only carry something condition 1 with a firm safety or DAO. Not sure I would carry something like a Glock trigger; but that's just me.
