how do you field strip your weapon for cleaning?

I wanted to know how you field strip your weapon. I saw the safety. It looked like it could go 180 degrees. Does that act as the slide release like the Bersa and sig? (just to inflate your ego, this is the first hammer-less handgun I've ever had any interest in and I like the hammerhead shark look to it).  : )    On your xr-9L/ xr-9M, if you could make it with a true single stack 10 round mag, keeping the lean design of your gun, that would be greatly appreciated out here in CA, no handgun goes over 10 rounds and the waste of space in my hand is very irritating to me, like what happens in every other handgun besides the 1911 but you still dont get 10 rounds.
