If you just have your web person change "Full Name" to "Username" during sign up, the option of anonymity will be available. Of course, anyone that wanted to could use their real name as their username or sign their messages with their real name.
I sure hope that being an early poster gets me an early spot on the pre-order list. :-)

Unfortunately the forum software we're using can't be configured like you suggest.
However, if you use a pseudonyms for your First / Last name you can ensure your privacy.
