Permalink Reply by Blueorison on May 2, 2010 at 6:34pm The only finish we know of to produce a true "silvery" look is with matte chrome. I have seen companies use clear anodize, which scratches very easily, and I have seen clear laquer on raw aluminum (you probably know who that is). The laquer gets eaten by solvent, and then the aluminum gets pitted by sweat. Hint: think of a popular pocket revolver.
Right now we haven't had the chrome quoted, but we are planning on offering it - it is my personal color of choice.
We are looking at diamond-black to blacken our slides. The sample done at our supplier turned out extremely well!
