What is your official position on dry firing the XR9 (sorry if you have already answered this)?

I may have answered this in the past, but I think that the answer is now different than what I had said before. I made a design change that greatly decreases the impact imposed on the firing pin stop pin.  After having dry-fired 200 times, and disassembling the gun, I did not see so much as a blemish on the stop pin, so as far as I know, dry firing will not harm the XR9-S, so dry fire as much a you want!
bbbrkc, I thought you were asking about before you got a gun:-)
Glad I found this post! I was just wondering about dry firing. I have some friends that swear it helps improve accuracy with live fire.
