Convert your 870 to a Bullpup
While trolling round the Internet, I found this interesting conversion, it makes your Remington 870 look more like the KelTec KSG bullpup shotgun. Actually the more I stare at the photos the more it grows on me. Supposedly They start shipping next week.

It is interesting that this product is also a bullpup like the shorty and it is being shipped about the same time, perhaps there is some synergy here.

My knowledge of guns is minimal at best,but why does a knowledgeable designer engineer a stock that unnaturally forces your shoulder/forearm up in order to view the sight window?

It appears that all they would have had to do was lower the buttstock a bit to match the 870. But the molds are already made...

its got a rail on top I'm sure you could put a riser and a red dot and be fine.
