Boberg Arms

Why was the Ron Paul thread closed? I'm pretty sure this board is for "Anything But Firearms."

Actually Clark,

Pretty simple.

But thanks for pointing it out to us "old folks"..

Best Wishes,

Jesse

I thought that this was Arne's forum, and he put the sub forum here for members to use if they wanted to.   The members that don't want to discuss politics or other non-Boberg related topics are not compelled to participate.   The way I see it If Arne decides he doesn't want this subforum that is HIS prerogative.

Until then nobody is forcing anyone to participate, if you don't like what's being said don't look at it.   How simple is that.

To you and yours as well, and "Happy New Year" too!

I totally agree with this one.   The constitution protects your right to say whatever you want without the fear of the gov putting you in jail for so doing.  It does not however protect your right to say whatever you please in my house.

You curse your going to the curb, use curse words toward my wife I'm punching you in the face.  Than you're going to the curb, head first.  A private forum can be considerd the same.

That said anyone entering my house knows my rules and I don't post a sign saying you can say anything you please, than tell them they are out of line.  This section states you can talk about the two.  You may want to think about how to reword the sections description?

Again I agree with you totally.  While I'm a conservative (not republican), Christian (KJV only kind, not textus receptus 'in the Greek means' kind either),  anti-baby murder, and anti big government kind of gun toting American.  One of my co-workers (military) was pro-gun, pro-baby murder, big government helps the poor(even voted for Obama), and one of the biggest liberal quacks I knew.  He still loved his guns though and carried every ware he went, off post of course.  So every time he opened his mouth, especially since he hung out with the gun crowed, eveyone ganed up on him and engaged in personal attacks.

Personally we got along because I didn't take him to seriously.  Plus I'm a better shot ;)

The First Amendment prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.

The First Amendment does NOT in any way, shape or form apply to a privately owned and operated forum

such as this one.

With that…….

The overwhelming problem with some gun owners, is that most, especially it seems with those who participate in on-line gun forums, is that a gun owner *should* be conservative, Christian, pro-life and anti-government.

And when a gun owner doesn’t fit that particular profile, and he dare to express political views that are contrary to those of the forum majority, what was once a nice respectful, adult forum will instantly transform into a collective tag team where the conservative membership will (as predictably as the sun coming up tomorrow), begin making personal attacks.

There will be absolutely no friendship between liberals and conservatives on a gun forum. Ever.

You can take that to the bank.

I’ve seen it happen time and time again on forums.

Arne Boberg will have to take time away from building guns in order to break up fights, mediate, arbitrate and baby-sit forum members.

You can take that to the bank also.
