Permalink Reply by Terry Reed on February 20, 2012 at 7:26pm I also cast a vote for the Micro. I currently own a Seecamp 380 and a Ruger LCP and back pocket carry them with wallet style holsters from Pocketholsters. I am interested in the Boberg pistols for pocket carry only. The LCP is about as big as I want to carry in my back pocket. A 9mm in this size would be an awesome replacement for the LCP. Bring on the micro with as short of a grip as is practical.
As it looks right now, we may just offer the Micro in a .45 GAP - the smallest .45 pistol.....ever.

Permalink Reply by dhysk240 on February 20, 2012 at 8:40pm I can see that in the position you are in the .45 GAP may be your best bet for sales. I wanted a larger extended mag for the shorty and the micro format. I think once/if you have a factory and product income those may be good things to do.
As I have looked around lately the market is full of small +P rated 9mm. So basically the return on those investments would be marginal compared to the .45 GAP. Assuming that it isn't just plain old dreadful to shoot. So from my uneducated, non manufacturing, non buisness, non marketing backround I think thats probably a great move.
Talking to people around showing them pics and explaining the design they kind of give me the fake interested look. Mention that it may be available in .45 with just a bit more weight and width they perk up a bit. I'd love to show them the pistol and take them out to shoot it but I dont have one.
Just found out about the thing about a week ago! ;(.. It will be a long time before I get my call.
Permalink Reply by Terry L Kayser on February 21, 2012 at 7:36pm As I've stated previously on another thread, build an XR in .45 GAP and I'm in. I carry a G39 and see an even smaller, more concealable weapon in the same caliber as a win/win. Either weapon can be primary or backup, depending on the situation I find myself in and which one I can present more quickly. And they use the same ammo, what's not to like? My XR9-S can come along for the ride as a backup for the backup, just in case (when my number comes up, that is).
